Logo design

Luggage Laughs are a retailer of quirky and comedy vinyl stickers designed to be affixed to suitcases and luggage to aid with identification. In order to launch, the company required a logo a be created to head up their brand, which they asked me to produce.

I initially approached the brief with a very clean and modern design style, but both the client and I felt that the spirit of the brand was better reflected in the products they sold and their humorous, novelty artwork. I worked up a more relatable design that conveyed a little more personality comprised of a laughing cartoon suitcase mascot; a thorough departure from the corporate and 'sensible' tone of the intial design exploration (above).
