Logo design
iSolicitor UK were a start-up venture when they approached me about branding their service, offering legal advice and resources online. They had no visual identity at the time and wanted to begin where most brands often do - with their logo design.
As with all logo design commissions, I took the client through my three-stage development process. The first stage consists of researching reference material pertaining to the industry and sketching potential design directions. My focus for this project was quite broad, exploring how classic law-based influences and rhetoric could be represented in the clients' modern digital context. Courthouse architecture such as columns and stone work, steps and doors, scripture and parchment were all drivers for the initial stage of development. The second stage was where I adapted the client's favourite three designs from the initial batch, before moving on to the the final stage; refined the chosen design.
